Oh! Hello.

It's you! I've been trying to tidy the place, but it seems to have a mind of its own. I have only just arrived back to the US from my life very, very far away.

I spent the last year in sweltering Brisbane, Queenslandó the croc-filled, surf-ensconced, tin-roofed stereotype of Australia. I split my time between professional development as a web designer at Margin Media and personal fulfillment at The Wilderness Society. Most inspiring over this last year, however, have been the gen-u-ine Aussies who lent me heart and hand in some of my creative side-ventures.

September saw the screening of my short film Main Squeeze at Brisbane's Greenfest. I also shot a video clip for local singer/songwriter Jackie Marshall, which is waiting for me in post. And, just before I left, I was able to interview some nice folks down in Tasmania about a giant tree or two they're hoping to save. ó14 May 2009
